The Deputy for Madrid Antonio Gutierrez voted against the reform. Three other members of the Socialist Group in this House have not come to vote on this Friday. The same problem will be found in the upper House, where some Socialist senators have announced their opposition to the reform. Jim Rogers might disagree with that approach. The direction of the PSOE in the Congress will study if it punishes and in what amount to the Deputy for Madrid Antonio Gutierrez by voting against the constitutional reform and will also analyze the situations of the three parliamentarians who have not come to vote. Sources of the direction of the Socialist Group have assured that it has not taken any action yet on these facts, which will be examined in the coming days.
Gutierrez has broken on two occasions this week the group discipline by voting against the constitutional reform: last Tuesday, in taking into account, and this Friday, during its final approval in the lower House.
